Emerging Om’s Big, Big Move.
When new students and clients walk in my door, the number one thing they want for their life?
Change.
When new students and clients walk in my door, the number one thing they are afraid of?
Change.
We all know the feeling. We want things to be different. We fantasize about what’s out there, what we could be experiencing if we just made a few little changes, or maybe one big change. It’s easy to talk about what could be, to complain about your current status and walk through life with a “grass-is-greener” on the other side attitude. It is so much harder to actually take the steps and make the necessary changes. What if it doesn’t work out? What will be left for me? What if I’m making a huge mistake? We “what if” ourselves so much that we crawl back into our safe spaces, back to hoping and wishing and dreaming for a better life.
Well, it’s time for me to make a change. As of this month, the Emerging Om center in Tustin, CA will be closing its location. Though it’s been a truly amazing 4 years, the space simply does not serve the needs of our growing community anymore, and keeps me from spreading my wings and taking exciting opportunities abroad.
Yes, it’s scary. Our Tustin sanctuary has been a place of comfort and energy not just for my community, but for myself as well. The electric vibes of Friday night chanting, workshops that bring us closer together, deep conversations and meditations about life, love, and the pursuit of peace- all in our 2nd story nest of a space. So what’s next?
We’ll be transitioning into a gorgeous new space come early summer, one that allows more flexibility for my travel, as well creating some exciting new partnerships for the next phase of Emerging Om’s life. I’ll be writing, a lot, both in this blog and finally getting on with writing a book, whose words have lived inside me for so long and have been waiting to come out. I’ll be providing wellness trips to India and other destinations for those seeking the total escape. We’ll be resuming chanting in the homes of generous students who have already signed up in droves. I’ll be keeping my heart and mind open for new opportunities that will continue to spread the message of ultimate love and peace. All this to say: I’m not going anywhere, I’m going everywhere.
So you, reading this: what’s your big change this year? What have you been holding onto so tightly that it’s holding you back? What do you need to jump and maybe even fly? Your fears can guide you to a safer place to jump from, but don’t let them keep you from jumping at all. You can do it. I can do it. And here I go!
Love and Light,
Yogi Ma
