My boyfriend and I decided to get married about a year and half ago.

The first thing that came into my mind when I started the planning process was that I wanted Kathy to officiate our union. Kathy had brought calmness to us during hard times and I wanted her to be part of our happiness and union. I was not even sure if she did that or was within the realm of her likings. I called her up and told her about my plans and what I had in mind.
